Monday–Friday at a dropped pin in Seattle, I’m the visual design lead for Google’s map surfaces, coming up with new ways to present data visually, and empowering others to create new map experiences.
Since 2001, I’ve worked on an assortment of brands, products, systems, and emerging technologies from concept to development. My superpower is looking aerially at design systems—and then finding/devising opportunities to clarify, simplify, and add function, value, and meaning.
I value craft, collaboration, classical design, data, and sustainability. Please feel free to say hello.
